What is the point of this current wave of doulas and birthworkers if we're all burnt out and "retired" in 5 or 10 years?
Kuluntu RJC believes in the transformative power of community, including community with people doing similar work. There's more than enough room at the table for all of us to eat and to invite more to join.
Birthwork is hard, and much of the guidance that's out there doesn't address vicarious trauma, birthworker burnout, or building a long-term career.
Let's explore together what it means to build an anti-capitalist birth justice-centered sustainable business in our current reality.
Birth Justice Mentorship Program
Are you a newer birthworker, or have you been around the block a few times but still feel like you haven't found your footing? Do you value birth justice, integrity, centering the most marginalized, and using your birthwork as a vehicle for healing?
The Birth Justice Mentorship Program (BJMP) will guide you through what it means to build an anti-capitalist birth justice-centric business that works with your individual needs and desires with a community of supportive birthworkers with similar values.
More info on the next cohort coming fall 2022. In the meantime, check out the BJMP preview to get a sneak peek at what we'll be covering.
